Swansea City boss Paul Clement insists that Gylfi Sigurdsson's future will be decided "very soon" amid interest from Everton.

Swansea City manager Paul Clement has revealed that the speculation surrounding Gylfi Sigurdsson's future will soon be put to bed.

The midfielder has been heavily linked to Everton following numerous failed bids, one of which is believed to have been in the region of £45m.

Widespread reports have claimed that the Welsh outfit, who fell into a relegation battle last season, are demanding £50m for the Iceland international's signature.

The 27-year-old was left out of Swansea's squad for this afternoon's pre-season 2-0 win over Birmingham City.

Now, Clement has confirmed that a decision regarding Sigurdsson's future will be made "very soon", according to The Mirror.

Everton have spent around £100m on new players already in this transfer window.
