Swansea City make three changes for their vital relegation battle against Southampton in Wales.

Swansea City manager Carlos Carvalhal has made three changes to his starting XI for this evening's crunch relegation clash against Southampton.

The Swans have drafted in Kyle Naughton in place of Mike van der Hoorn in defence, while Sam Clucas and Andy King are preferred to Tom Carroll and Nathan Dyer in midfield.

Carvalhal had a near-full strength squad at his disposal for the match in Wales, with only Kyle Bartley missing through injury.

Meanwhile, visitors Southampton have made two changes for the trip to the Liberty Stadium, with Jack Stephens replacing the suspended Maya Yoshida at the back.

Manager Mark Hughes has also deployed Nathan Redmond from the start, in place of Mario Lemina, after the winger came off the bench to score in last weekend's 1-1 draw at Everton.

With both sides heading into the match level on 33 points, in 17th and 18th in the division, defeat for either would leave them in deep relegation trouble going into the final weekend, while anything other than a draw will relegate West Bromwich Albion.

Swansea City: Fabianski; Naughton, Fernandez, Mawson; Roberts, Ki, King, Olsson; Clucas, A Ayew, J Ayew
Subs: Nordfeldt, Van der Hoorn, Carroll, Sanches, Dyer, Narsingh, Abraham

Southampton: McCarthy; Bednarek, Stephens, Hoedt; Soares, Romeu, Hojbjerg, Bertrand; Tadic, Redmond, Austin
Subs: Forster, McQueen, Ward-Prowse, Sims, Long, Carrillo, Gabbiadini
