Swansea City are reported to have knocked back offers of more than £30m for Gylfi Sigurdsson from the Chinese Super League in the January transfer window.

Swansea City rejected bids of more than £30m from Chinese Super League clubs for Gylfi Sigurdsson in January, according to reports.

The Iceland international has scored seven goals and registered seven assists for the struggling Swans in the Premier League this season.

According to Wales Online, the club saw considerable interest for Sigurdsson in last month's transfer window, with two Chinese clubs bidding for him, but made it clear that they were not interested in selling their star player.

Sigurdsson, who scored the winner for Swansea in their 2-1 victory over Southampton on Tuesday, agreed a new four-year contract at the Liberty Stadium last summer.
