Stoke City are reportedly looking at experienced striker Ivica Olic as a replacement for striker Jon Walters.

Stoke City are reportedly looking at former Barcelona and Bayern Munich striker Ivica Olic should Jon Walters leave the club.

Mark Hughes has been a long-time fan of the Croatian and with Walters courting interest from other clubs, there is a high chance that Olic, capped 101 times by his country, could leave current club Hamburger SV for a stint in the Premier League, according to the Stoke Sentinel.

Walters has just one year left on his contract and Championship club Norwich City are understood to have failed in a bid for the attacker.

Olic, 35, was reportedly a transfer target for Stoke in January but opted to move to Hamburg from Wolfsburg instead.
