Two clubs in the A-League are reportedly looking to secure the signing of Stoke City forward Peter Crouch.

Stoke City forward Peter Crouch has reportedly emerged as a transfer target for two clubs in Australia.

Crouch has spent the last seven years in the Potteries but now 37, the striker is no longer first choice at the bet365 Stadium.

The former England international has previously indicated that he hopes to see out the remaining 12 months of his contract but according to The Sun, there is interest from the A-League.

Sydney FC and Melbourne Victory are allegedly monitoring the situation, with Crouch having been identified as a marquee signing for the league.

During the last campaign, Sydney won the regular season while Melbourne Victory prevailed in the A-League Grand Final having initially ended the campaign in fourth position.
