Marc Wilson determined to bounce back

Stoke City defender Marc Wilson is adamant that his side need to respond from their opening-day defeat when they take on Hull City on Sunday.

Stoke City defender Marc Wilson has revealed that his side are determined to bounce back from their opening-day defeat in the Premier League when they face Hull City.

The Potters fell to a 1-0 loss to Aston Villa at the Britannia Stadium when Andreas Weimann scored the only goal of the game, as Stoke struggled in the final third of the pitch.

Wilson told the club's official website: "It's a disappointment we are determined to bounce straight back from however, and we have a real chance of doing that against Hull this weekend.

"We know that we need to be better, and we know that we have to learn from the mistakes we made last weekend. We are itching to get those three points on the board."

Stoke take on Hull at the KC Stadium on Sunday.
