Peter Crouch aims dig at Mark Hughes on Twitter

Stoke City forward Peter Crouch aims a dig at Potters boss Mark Hughes while responding to a tweet about his effectiveness on FIFA 17.

Stoke City forward Peter Crouch has jokingly responded to a tweet that suggests that he is an effective player on FIFA 17.

The former England international has struggled for first-team football at the Britannia this season - only making one start in the Premier League- and he was an unused substitute in Stoke's 2-0 win over Hull City on Saturday afternoon.

On Saturday night, Crouch received a tweet that claimed he 'ruined someone's life on FIFA' and the 35-year-old responded with "at least I'm getting a game somewhere" in a message that has already been retweeted over 2700 times.

Crouch, who scored 22 times in 42 appearances for England between 2005 and 2010, has represented the likes of Tottenham Hotspur, Queens Park Rangers, Southampton and Liverpool during a well-travelled career.
