Real Madrid have reportedly acknowledged that it will not be easy to make Mauricio Pochettino their next full-time manager.
Santiago Solari is currently in charge on an interim basis, and it has been suggested that the Real hierarchy could make another change in the dugout at the end of the season.
Pochettino has been heavily linked with a switch to the Bernabeu, but according to The Mirror, Real accept that they may struggle to secure the release of the Tottenham Hotspur boss.
Pochettino possesses a long-term contract at the North London outfit, and no release clause has been inserted into the Argentine's deal.
Real remain interested in the 46-year-old, but it is said that potential alternatives will be identified by the La Liga side.
