Tottenham Hotspur forward Harry Kane has refused to be drawn on suggestions that he could move to Real Madrid.

Kane, who captained England to a 3-2 win over Spain on Monday night, is believed to be a long-term target for Madrid, who did not directly replace Cristiano Ronaldo during the recent summer transfer window.

Kane has scored 146 times for Tottenham since breaking into the first team and has long been linked with a move away from Spurs.

Madrid captain Sergio Ramos recently claimed that the 25-year-old would be suited to Spanish football due to his 'physical and technical ability'.

However, Kane told Marca: "Sorry, not today", when questioned on a possible future move to the Bernabeu.

Kane has netted six times in 10 appearances for Tottenham this season, while Madrid have gone four games without a goal, which is their worst run of form for 33 years.
