How Tottenham Hotspur could line up against Leicester City

Ahead of Tottenham Hotspsur's Premier League meeting with Leicester City on Sunday, Sports Mole looks at how the Lilywhites could line up.

Tottenham Hotspur will be aiming to maintain their unexpected title challenge this weekend when they welcome Leicester City to Wembley Stadium.

The Lilywhites may have crashed out of both domestic cup competitions last month, but they have won three in a row in the Premier League - each match being won inside the final 10 minutes - to remain within five points of top spot.

Next up for Spurs is the visit of Leicester on Sunday, coming three days before the first leg of their Champions League last-16 tie against Borussia Dortmund.

Here, Sports Mole looks at how Mauricio Pochettino may set out his side against the 2016 champions.

Despite some positive updates on the fitness of Kane and Alli, Tottenham will remain without their key attacking duo for the forseeable future.

Spurs boss Pochettino must decide whether to go with Fernando Llorente through the middle, as he did in the first four games of Kane's absence, or stick with Son Heung-min following the South Korean's late winner against Newcastle United last time out.

Son has had a hand in 14 goals in his last 11 starts in the Premier League for Tottenham, scoring 10 and assisting four, and he may just get the nod here as the false nine.

Pochettino would like to rotate in attacking midfield ahead of the huge showdown with Dortmund, but he has limited options and it may well be a case of the same three that started against Newcastle being used from the off here.

Left-back Davies is Tottenham's only other confirmed absentee, so Danny Rose should retain his place in defence, while Jan Vertonghen is in contention to replace Davinson Sanchez to keep things fresh.
