Preview: Tottenham Hotspur vs. AEL Limassol

Sports Mole looks ahead to Tottenham Hotspur's Europa League qualifier second leg against Cypriot side AEL Limassol.

In Cyprus last week, it appeared that Tottenham Hotspur were going to suffer an embarrassing defeat at the hands of their hosts AEL Limassol.

However, the Premier League leaders rallied late on, with goals from Spanish striker Roberto Soldado and youngster Harry Kane securing a 2-1 win ahead of Thursday's Europa League qualifier second leg at White Hart Lane.

With that advantage in mind, it is expected that manager Mauricio Pochettino will make numerous changes to his starting lineup for the visit of the Cypriots.

Goalscorers Soldado and Kane should both feature, while there could also be a debut between the posts for goalkeeper Michel Vorm.

Elsewhere, the likes of Lewis Holtby, Paulinho and summer signing Ben Davies are also expected to come into the team.

Visiting AEL, they are likely to include a number of Brazilians within their starting lineup.

The only other Cypriot side to have visited White Hart Lane previously is Anorthosis Famagusta, who suffered a 6-1 loss back in 2007.
