Tottenham Hotspur team news: Injury, suspension news vs. Royal Antwerp

Sports Mole rounds up Tottenham Hotspur's injury and suspension news ahead of Thursday's Europa League encounter against Royal Antwerp.

Tottenham Hotspur are back in action in the Europa League on Thursday evening as they square off against Royal Antwerp.

The contest at the Bosuilstadion comes just three days after Spurs recorded a hard-fought 1-0 victory over Burnley in the Premier League.

However, while Jose Mourinho has a number of injury concerns, the Portuguese is expected to name a much-changed starting lineup versus the Belgian league leaders.

Here, Sports Mole runs through Tottenham's latest injury and suspension news ahead of their second fixture in Group J.

Status: Out
Type of injury: Thigh
Possible return date: Unknown

Despite having made his return from injury in the EFL Cup tie against Chelsea at the end of last month, Tanganga is currently spending another period on the sidelines with a thigh problem.

Serge Aurier

Status: Minor doubt
Type of injury: Knock
Possible return date: October 29 (vs. Antwerp)

Aurier was absent from the 18-man squad against Burnley having recently picked up a knock. However, the right-back is expected to be back in contention for the trip to Belgium later this week.

Steven Bergwijn

Like Aurier, Bergwijn played no part against the Clarets due to a minor injury. The Netherlands international should come back into the fold against Antwerp or in the following game versus Brighton & Hove Albion.
