Wednesday's Champions League predictions including Real Madrid, Man City, Spurs

Sports Mole provides score predictions for all eight of Wednesday night's Champions League matches, including Real Madrid, Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspur.

Bayern Munich vs. Olympiacos (Tuesday, 5.55pm)

Bayern Munich begin life after Niko Kovac with a meeting with Greek side Olympiacos in the Champions League on Wednesday night.

Having dismissed the German on Sunday night, Bayern players are likely to head into this game at the Allianz Arena not knowing who their next permanent manager will be.

We say: Bayern Munich 4-0 Olympiacos

Bayern's determination to set the record straight after last weekend's galling defeat in Frankfurt, combined with Olympiacos having a poor record away from home in Europe over several years, means that the Bundesliga champions are very likely to dish out a drubbing of their own at the Allianz Arena.

Lokomotiv Moscow vs. Olympiacos (Tuesday, 5.55pm)

Italian champions Juventus will be looking to make it back-to-back wins over Lokomotiv Moscow when they travel to Russia in the Champions League on Wednesday night.

Maurizio Sarri's side recorded a 2-1 victory in the reverse match to move onto seven points in Group D, leaving Lokomotiv with just three points to show from their three games in the section.

We say: Lokomotiv Moscow 0-1 Juventus

Lokomotiv showed in Turin last month that they are not to be taken lightly, and it would not be a surprise to see the hosts pick up a result on Wednesday night. Juve know what it takes to win these sort of matches, though, and we just fancy Sarri's side to emerge victorious when all is said and done.

Atalanta vs. Man City (Tuesday, 8pm)

Atalanta BC face an uphill battle to qualify for the knockout stages of the Champions League after losing each of their first three group stage games in the competition.

The Serie A outfit host reigning Premier League champions Manchester City next, who have lost just twice all season.

We say: Atalanta 1-3 Manchester City

Atalanta are a fine side, but their Champions League form has been woeful thus far and City will expect to pick them apart just as they did in their last meeting. Raheem Sterling will be licking his lips after his hat-trick against these opponents previously.

Bayer Leverkusen vs. Atletico Madrid (Tuesday, 8pm)

Bayer Leverkusen's search for their first Champions League victory of the campaign will continue on Wednesday night as they welcome Atletico Madrid to the BayArena.

The Bundesliga side have lost all three of their Group D games to sit bottom of the section, while Atletico are second with seven points to show from their three fixtures thus far.

We say: Bayer Leverkusen 1-1 Atletico Madrid

A point would not be a bad result for Atletico under the circumstances, and we think that Leverkusen have enough to hold Simeone's side to a low-scoring draw on home soil.

Dinamo Zagreb vs. Shakhtar Donetsk (Tuesday, 8pm)

Dinamo Zagreb and Shakhtar Donetsk face off in a crunch Champions League fixture as both sides compete to qualify for the knockout stages alongside likely group winners Manchester City.

Zagreb won their last game 1-0, while Shakhtar romped to a 3-0 victory as the respective league leaders continued their domestic dominance.

We say: Dinamo Zagreb 2-2 Shakhtar Donetsk

With two attractive sides facing off, we could be treated to another even, goal-filled contest. It is so difficult to separate the pair, and it could be a repeat of the reverse fixture.

PSG vs. Club Brugge (Tuesday, 8pm)

Paris Saint-Germain will enter Wednesday's Champions League clash with Club Brugge knowing that a win would see them book their spot in the knockout round of the competition with two games to spare.

The French champions have picked up nine points from their three Group A fixtures thus far, meaning that another victory against third-placed Brugge would see them qualify for the last-16 stage of the tournament.

We say: Paris Saint-Germain 2-0 Club Brugge

Tuchel will once again not be able to select his strongest side, but we are finding it difficult to predict anything other than a home win with PSG determined to bounce back from their weekend disappointment.

Real Madrid vs. Galatasaray (Tuesday, 8pm)

Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane pictured on November 2, 2019© Reuters

Real Madrid will be looking for just their second win in the group stages of this season's Champions League when they welcome Galatasaray to the Bernabeu on Wednesday night.

Los Blancos won 1-0 in Turkey in the reverse match last month, but Zinedine Zidane's side have only collected four points from their three Group A games, which has left them five points off Paris Saint-Germain.

We say: Real Madrid 1-0 Galatasaray

It is shaping up to be another close game, with Galatasaray certainly capable of causing problems. We just fancy Madrid to edge it, though, which would place them in a strong position in the section.

Red Star Belgrade vs. Tottenham (Tuesday, 8pm)

Tottenham Hotspur can take a significant step towards qualifying for the knockout phase of the Champions League with a win away at Red Star Belgrade on Wednesday.

Mauricio Pochettino's men claimed a 5-0 victory over the Serbian champions last month but head into the game with an away record that will give Red Star plenty of encouragement.

We say: Red Star Belgrade 1-1 Tottenham Hotspur

It is difficult to imagine Spurs, having struggled so markedly away from home for so long, cruising to victory over such determined, confident opponents against the backdrop of a hostile atmosphere.

Pochettino's side should have enough of the ball to force an opener, but Red Star's counter-attacking style may yield an equaliser against a team that feels quite fragile at this moment in time.
