Spain boss Vicente del Bosque has placed his team as "the favourites" for Euro 2016 success this summer.

La Roja will enter the competition in France having won the last two editions of the European Championships and are seen as strong candidates to triumph once again.

Del Bosque has said that his team are "in good form" entering the finals, but has insisted that there are a number of "big rivals" looking to challenge the reigning champions.

"We're in good form. We're favourites to win but there are a lot of candidates, it's a different matter. We dream of being champions again. We're the favourites and the defending champions," Del Bosque told reporters. "We have a dream, a hope, and we'll see if it's possible. But again, there are big rivals."

Spain will open their Euro 2016 campaign against Czech Republic on June 13.
