Group C leaders Slovakia travelled to Oviedo to face Spain in a Euro 2016 qualifier on Saturday.
The hosts took the lead just five minutes into proceedings following a close-range header from Jordi Alba.
A penalty from Andres Iniesta then doubled Spain's lead with 30 minutes on the clock.
Slovakia had chances of their own on the night, but could not respond as La Roja took top spot in the group.
