Southampton tell former manager Ronald Koeman, now at Everton, to forget about making a bid for Saints goalkeeper Fraser Forster, according to reports.

Southampton have reportedly issued a hands-off warning to Everton about making a bid for goalkeeper Fraser Forster.

Ronald Koeman, who made the switch from the south coast club to the blue half of Merseyside in June, has refused to rule out raiding his old club for players.

Saints stopper Forster, currently away on international duty with England at Euro 2016, has been linked with following Koeman to Goodison Park, but the Liverpool Echo believes that the Saints would strongly rebuff any approach.

Forster, who began his career at Newcastle United, joined Southampton from Celtic in 2014.
