Report: Juventus turn down Southampton bid for Stefano Sturaro

Juventus reportedly turn down a £12m bid from Premier League side Southampton for 23-year-old midfielder Stefano Sturaro.

Southampton have expressed an interest in signing Juventus midfielder Stefano Sturaro, according to reports.

The 23-year-old made 28 appearances in all competitions for the Serie A giants last season, including six in the Champions League.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Saints have offered Juve a fee in the region of £12m for the former Genoa box-to-box man, which has been turned down.

Sturaro, who is also said to be on the radar of Lazio, is contracted at the Juventus Arena until 2019.
