The 31-year-old joined the Owls from Charlton Athletic in July 2011, having rejected a new contract at The Valley.

He featured just 16 times for the club last term, with his only start in the Championship so far in 2016 coming in the 2-1 final-day loss at Wolverhampton Wanderers.
