Wales international Simon Church has joined Dutch club Roda JC from MK Dons.

The striker has signed for the Eredivisie outfit on a one-year deal for an undisclosed fee after failing to establish himself at the League One club.

Church scored twice in 19 appearances during his time at MK Dons, but spent a fruitful loan spell in Scotland with Aberdeen last season and made the Wales squad for Euro 2016.

"Everyone at MK Dons would like to wish Simon Church all the best for the future," read a statement posted on the Dons' official Twitter account.

Roda JC are currently 14th in the Eredivisie after starting the campaign with two draws and a defeat.
