AC Milan attacker Suso claims that he has the ability to one day represent either Barcelona or Real Madrid.

AC Milan attacker Suso is confident that he has the ability to one day represent either Barcelona or Real Madrid.

The 23-year-old has started to gain more attention in recent months after impressing for his Italian club this season, scoring five times and registering six assists in 17 league appearances for the San Siro outfit.

When asked whether he believed he could one day represent one of Spain's big two clubs, Suso claimed that he has the required potential to operate at the highest level.

"I think so, I am showing it gradually. It's early, but I have been with Barca and Madrid players in the national team [at junior levels]. I have always shown that the level is there. Maybe it's a bit early because I have to continue growing over a longer period of time," Suso told Marca.

Suso joined Milan in 2015 after struggling to make his mark at Liverpool.
