A report claims that a deal may already be in place between Juventus and Real Madrid for the signing of Brazilian full-back Marcelo.

Long-serving Real Madrid defender Marcelo is on the brink of completing a move to Juventus, according to a report.

The Brazil international has spent more than 12 years at the Bernabeu, racking up close to 500 appearances for the club in all competitions.

Marcelo has fallen out of favour under Santiago Solari, however, and he now finds himself playing second fiddle to Sergio Reguilon.

Having supposedly asked to leave the club to kickstart his career elsewhere, Italian media outlet Tuttosport suggests that a deal with Juventus may already be in place.

The report also indicates that Marcelo may be coached by former Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane from the start of next season as the Frenchman is in line to replace Massimiliano Allegri.

Los Blancos may turn to Ajax's Nicolas Tagliafico as a replacement.
