Neymar tells his family that he will definitely be staying with Paris Saint-Germain this summer, according to a report.

Neymar has reportedly told his family that he is definitely staying with Paris Saint-Germain this summer.

The 27-year-old has been strongly linked with a return to Barcelona since the end of the 2018-19 campaign, while Real Madrid have also been credited with an interest.

Neither club have been able to agree a deal with PSG, though, and it was reported on Saturday that the Brazil international had accepted that he will not be leaving Thomas Tuchel's side this summer.

According to L'Equipe, the South American has now told his family that he will definitely be remaining in France until at least the January transfer window.

The capital giants are believed to have demanded Ousmane Dembele, Ivan Rakitic, Jean-Clair Todibo plus a "significant" cash sum in order to sanction a move to Barca.

Neymar, who is due to travel to Miami this weekend to meet up with his national team, has not yet represented PSG this season due to the speculation surrounding his future.

However, the former Santos youngster is in line to make his first club appearance of the new campaign at home to Strasbourg after the international break.
