Real Madrid forward Cristiano Ronaldo reveals that he would be interested in a move to the MLS sometime in the future.

Real Madrid forward Cristiano Ronaldo has revealed that he would consider moving to the MLS in the future.

The 30-year-old is widely regarded as one of the best players in world football having scored 340 goals in 326 appearances for Real Madrid since joining the Spanish giants for a world-record fee in 2009.

However, questions over his future have repeatedly been raised in recent years, with a return to former club Manchester United or move to Paris Saint-Germain among the rumours to have surfaced.

The MLS has enticed an increasing number of big-name players to America in recent years, with the likes of David Beckham, Frank Lampard, Steven Gerrard, David Villa, Thierry Henry and Kaka all plying their trade in the States.

"What's happening there is great, it's fantastic. Maybe in the future will be a good chance for me to play there. You never know, but it's something interesting," Ronaldo told GQ magazine.

"I consider it, of course, because, as I've said, soccer there has become better and better, so why not? I think that this is maybe going to be possible.I know that many players move there. I think it's becoming better and better.

"It's growing, I think it's good. It's good for me and young players that maybe one day we want to move there. So it's good that football - 'soccer' - grows there."

Former Chelsea and England defender Ashley Cole is expected to make the move to Los Angeles Galaxy, where he will play alongside Gerrard, in the coming days.
