Gareth Bale is one of five first-team players Real Madrid are looking to offload this summer to bring in further funds for Zinedine Zidane, according to a report.

Real Madrid are reportedly looking to recoup around €400m (£341m) through the sale of a number of first-team squad members.

Speaking after his first game back in charge of Los Blancos, a 2-0 win over Celta Vigo on Saturday afternoon, boss Zinedine Zidane admitted that "there will be changes" before next season.

Zidane has already moved to bring in Eder Militao from Porto and a number of other players, including one or two 'Galacticos', are expected to follow.

According to Don Balon, Real chiefs will fund deals for the likes of Eden Hazard and Mauro Icardi by offloading a string of unwanted players.

Gareth Bale is among the highest profile of the players not part of Zidane's plans, it is claimed, with Los Blancos holding out for around £94m, while Keylor Navas can leave for £26m, Marco Asensio and Toni Kroos for £68m, and Isco £85m.

Isco and Bale were on the scoresheet in Real's home victory over Celta, which lifts the reigning European champions to within two points of second place.
