Real Madrid team news: Injury, suspension list vs. Inter Milan

Sports Mole rounds up Real Madrid's injury and suspension news ahead of the Champions League clash with Inter Milan.

Real Madrid will be looking for their first Champions League victory of the season when they welcome Italian giants Inter Milan to the Spanish capital on Tuesday night.

Los Blancos have only picked up one point from their two Group B fixtures thus far, having lost to Shakhtar Donetsk and drawn with Borussia Monchengladbach in their opening two matches.

Zinedine Zidane's side will enter this fixture off the back of a positive result, though, having recorded a 4-1 victory over Huesca in La Liga on Saturday afternoon.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up Madrid's latest injury and suspension news ahead of the clash with Inter, who have drawn their two European games this term.

Lucas Vazquez

Status: Major doubt
Type of injury: Muscle
Possible return date: November 3 (vs. Inter)

Madrid could be without the services of Lucas Vazquez for Tuesday's Champions League clash, with the Spaniard picking up a muscular problem during the victory over Huesca on Saturday afternoon.

Dani Carvajal

Status: Out
Type of injury: Knee
Possible return date: Unknown

Dani Carvajal is expected to spend the next three to four weeks on the sidelines recovering from a knee injury, with the Spaniard damaging his medial collateral ligament during a training session. As a result, the right-back is unlikely to make his first-team return until the early stages of December.

Alvaro Odriozola

Status: Out
Type of injury: Calf
Possible return date: November 8 (vs. Valencia)

Alvaro Odriozola has missed Madrid's last six matches with a calf injury that he picked up during a training session in October. The issue is not thought to be a long-term one, but he missed out on a spot in the squad against Alaves and has not been included in the squad for Tuesday night.

Martin Odegaard

Status: Out
Type of injury: Calf
Possible return date: November 8 (vs. Valencia)

Madrid will again be without the services of Martin Odegaard against Inter due to a calf injury, but the Norway international underwent some light jogging exercises alongside his teammates on Sunday and could potentially be involved against Valencia next weekend.

Nacho

Status: Out
Type of injury: Thigh
Possible return date: November 21 (vs. Villarreal)

Nacho is currently on the sidelines with the thigh problem that he picked up against Barca last month. The versatile defender is not expected to return to the field until after the international break against Villarreal.

Eder Militao

Status: Out
Type of injury: Coronavirus
Possible return date: Unknown

Madrid will be without the services of Eder Militao on Tuesday night as the Brazilian centre-back has tested positive for coronavirus and is now in self-isolation.
