How Real Madrid could line up with Paul Pogba next season

Real Madrid are allegedly attempting to sign Paul Pogba this summer, but how may the Spanish giants line up with the Manchester United man in their side?

Real Madrid's third-placed finish in La Liga during the most recent campaign has resulted in Zinedine Zidane going on a spending spree during the summer window.

Deals have already been reached for each of Eder Militao, Ferland Mendy, Eden Hazard and Luka Jovic to link up with Los Blancos ahead of the new season.

However, there continues to be persistent speculation regarding interest in Paul Pogba, who has indicated that he is keen to leave Manchester United.

The Premier League giants are said to be demanding in the region of £150m, a figure which may lead to Real missing out on the World Cup winner.

Nevertheless, Zidane is a big admirer of his French compatriot, which could mean that a deal can be reached in the coming weeks.

Here, Sports Mole predicts how Real could line up if the 26-year-old is allowed to become the latest big name to move to Madrid.

Pogba has often been used in a more advanced midfield role at United, but Zidane may decide to deploy his fellow countryman in a deeper position.

With Casemiro expected to continue in front of the back four, Pogba could line up alongside Toni Kroos, who recently committed his future to Real.

The 13-time European champions have plenty of options in the middle of the park, although Pogba's arrival may lead to the likes of Luka Modric and Marcos Llorente having to be content with a place among the replacements.

Elsewhere, Militao appears to be favourite to start ahead of long-serving Dani Carvajal at right-back, although Marcelo may continue to be preferred to Mendy on the opposite side of the backline.

Hazard will almost certainly be used on the left-hand side of an attacking three, with Marco Asensio potentially finding himself out on the right flank in order to accommodate other players.

Karim Benzema's 21 league goals should be enough to see him start up front, despite the arrival of Jovic from Eintracht Frankfurt.
