How Real Madrid could line up against Getafe

Ahead of the game between Getafe and Real Madrid on Thursday night, Sports Mole looks at how Zinedine Zidane's side could line up at Coliseum Alfonso Perez.

Real Madrid head into Thursday's La Liga encounter with Getafe looking to boost their chances of ending the campaign in second position in the standings.

Los Blancos have long been out of the title race, but 13 points have been recorded from six matches since the return of head coach Zinedine Zidane.

Real make the trip to Coliseum Alfonso Perez having registered a 3-0 win over Athletic Bilbao at the Bernabeu on Sunday.

Below, Sports Mole predicts what starting lineup could be named by Zidane against a team who sit directly below Real in the table.

RMDXI VS. GET

Out: Vinicius Junior (knee),
Doubtful: Sergio Ramos (hamstring), Thibaut Courtois (knock), Mariano Diaz (adductor)

Both Thibaut Courtois and Mariano Diaz have returned to training ahead of this game, and the pair could each be involved in the 18-man squad.

Sergio Ramos is also nearing a return from a hamstring injury, but it remains to be seen whether Zidane will contemplate taking a risk on the club captain.

Zidane could potentially name the same lineup which began the meeting with Bilbao, although Toni Kroos may be assessed having recovered from illness to feature in that game.

Isco and Gareth Bale both came off the bench at the weekend to help Real finish strongly, but it may not be enough to earn a recall to the first XI.
