Real Madrid fans must get behind the team if they are to stand any chance of overturning a two-goal deficit against Wolfsburg, according to Luka Modric.

Luka Modric has encouraged the Real Madrid supporters to get behind the team when they face Wolfsburg in the quarter-finals of the Champions League tomorrow night.

When the situation is against their side, the Bernabeu faithful is notorious for turning on its own players.

However, up against a 2-0 deficit from the first leg, Modric has insisted that positive vibes are needed.

"We're capable of turning it around tomorrow with the support of our fans, which is very important. I'm sure they are going to be behind us," the Croatian midfielder told reporters.

Madrid have won each of their last four home matches in the Champions League.
