Former West Bromwich Albion boss Tony Pulis is allegedly being considered by Rangers for the club's vacant manager's job.

The Birmingham Mail claims, however, that the Welshman, who was sacked by the Baggies last month, is against the prospect of management over the Christmas period.

Rangers, who are without a permanent boss after the departure of Pedro Caixinha in October, were spoken of fondly by Pulis in an interview with beIN Sport.

"[Rangers] is one of the great clubs of British football," he said. "If you put Celtic and Rangers in the Premier League, I am telling you, the Premier League don't want them because they are that big.

"I don't think anybody can question the support or the size of the club."

West Brom, who go up against Manchester United on Sunday, are now guided by Alan Pardew.
