Nottingham Forest confirm the signing of Scotland Under-21 winger Barrie McKay from Rangers.

Nottingham Forest have announced the signing of winger Barrie McKay from Rangers.

The 22-year-old played under Reds boss Mark Warburton during his time at Ibrox and has linked up with his former manager, putting pen to paper on a four-year deal at The City Ground.

McKay, who had a year left on his Rangers contract, had been frozen out by new manager Pedro Caixinha, being made to train with the club's Under-20s side for the past few weeks.

In 2011, McKay joined the Gers youth setup and made his first-team debut against St Johnstone in the final game of the 2011-12 season, clocking up 140 appearances in total for the Glasgow side.

McKay has also represented Scotland from Under-18 through to Under-21 level.
