UEFA encourages PSG to meet FFP requirements

UEFA says that Paris Saint-Germain will "remain under scrutiny" with regards to their spending in the transfer market, despite opting against an immediate sanction.

UEFA has encouraged Paris Saint-Germain to comply with their FFP regulations or face sanctions in the near future.

European football's governing body has decided against any punishment for their activity between 2015 and 2017, but PSG must act quickly in order to satisfy FFP.

While no figure has been specified, L'Equipe has claimed that €60m (£52.84m) must be raised before the end of June or UEFA could take action against the Ligue 1 giants.

An official statement read: "The CFCB investigatory chamber further decided to close the investigation into PSG. The decision follows a detailed review of transfer contracts and an analysis of the related management accounts which confirmed that such transactions were in line with the UEFA club licensing and financial fair play regulations.

"Furthermore, the chamber concluded that after significant fair value adjustments of several club sponsorship contracts - on the basis of evaluations performed by independent third-party assessors - the break-even result of the club remains within acceptable deviation for the financial years ending in 2015, 2016 and 2017.

"The financial impact of transfer activities as from the 2017 summer - up to and including the upcoming transfer window - and compliance with the break-even requirement for the 2018 financial year will remain under close scrutiny."

Angel Di Maria, Javier Pastore and Goncalo Guedes are among the players who could leave the Parc des Princes.
