A report claims that Paris Saint-Germain want to sign Benfica defender Victor Lindelof in the January transfer window.

Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly considering a January move for Benfica defender Victor Lindelof.

The French champions are in the market for a new centre-back after selling David Luiz back to Chelsea in the final hours of the summer transfer window.

According to Le 10 Sport, PSG's leading defensive target is 22-year-old Lindelof, who has also previously been linked with a £25m move to Chelsea.

Lindelof joined Benfica from Vasteras SK in 2012 and initially represented the Portuguese side's B team, before stepping into the first-team picture in 2015. Last summer, the Sweden international extended his contract with the Portuguese giants until the summer of 2020.
