Laurent Blanc's agent confirms that he is on the verge of leaving Paris Saint-Germain.

Paris Saint-Germain manager Laurent Blanc is on the brink of leaving the club, according to his agent.

The Frenchman's representative Jean Pierre Bernes said that his client will part company with his employers within the next week.

"Before the end of the week, PSG and Laurent Blanc will be parted," Bernes told French radio station Europe 1.

Former Sevilla boss Unai Emery has been strongly linked with PSG in recent weeks, having cut ties with the La Liga side this summer.

Blanc guided PSG to a domestic treble last season, but is thought to have paid the price for the club's failure to add a Champions League title to their trophy haul.
