A report claims that Neymar has apologised to Paris Saint-Germain teammate Edinson Cavani following their penalty row in last weekend's 2-0 win over Lyon.

Neymar has reportedly apologised to Paris Saint-Germain teammate Edinson Cavani following their spat last weekend.

The pair argued over who should take a spot kick against Lyon last Sunday, with Cavani eventually missing from 12 yards in PSG's 2-0 win.

Reports suggested that the discontent then continued in the dressing room as their teammates were forced to intervene and keep them apart.

According to Mundo Deportivo, however, the Brazilian has apologised to his Uruguayan colleague and to the rest of the team.

Neymar will reportedly miss out on a place in the PSG squad for Saturday's Ligue 1 game with Montpellier due to a minor foot injury.
