Zlatan Ibrahimovic admits that he might retire from football when he leaves Paris Saint-Germain this summer.

Paris Saint-Germain forward Zlatan Ibrahimovic has admitted that he might retire from football when he leaves the Ligue 1 club at the end of the season.

The Sweden international recently confirmed that he will depart Parc des Princes this summer when his contract expires.

Premier League heavyweights Arsenal and Manchester United have been linked with moves for Ibrahimovic, while Major League Soccer in the United States has also been touted as a possible destination.

The 34-year-old, though, has revealed that he may give up his professional career.

"Maybe I'll just retire," Ibrahimovic told Swedish broadcaster TV4. "Nobody's thought of that possibility. I would prefer to go out at the top.

"Anything could happen next summer. When all the cards are on the table, I'll see which direction I want to take."

Ibrahimovic has played for seven clubs, including Juventus and Barcelona, in his senior career.
