How Paris Saint-Germain could line up against Club Brugge

Sports Mole looks at how Paris Saint-Germain could line up in Wednesday's Champions League clash with Club Brugge.

Paris Saint-Germain will head into Wednesday's Champions League clash with Club Brugge knowing that a win would see them book their spot in the last-16 stage of the competition.

Thomas Tuchel's side have a perfect record from their three Group A matches thus far and would qualify with two matches to spare should they overcome Brugge once again.

The French champions thumped the Belgian side 5-0 when they locked horns in the reverse match last month, with Kylian Mbappe scoring a hat-trick for the Paris club.

That said, PSG will enter this game off the back of a disappointing result having suffered a 2-1 defeat at lowly Dijon in Ligue 1 on Friday night.

Here, Sports Mole looks at how PSG could line up in the European fixture.

POSS PSG XI vs. BRU

Out: Neymar (hamstring),
Doubtful: Ander Herrera (ankle), Marco Verratti (calf), Thomas Meunier (thigh), Thilo Kehrer (foot)

Tuchel will once again be without the services of Neymar as the attacker battles to overcome the hamstring problem that he picked up during the recent international break.

Ander Herrera and Marco Verratti both missed out against Dijon with ankle and calf injuries respectively, meanwhile, and the pair remain doubts for Wednesday's European contest.

Thomas Meunier and Thilo Kehrer are also doubts, meaning that Colin Dagba could continue at right-back due to the limited options in that area of the field.

Julian Draxler and Idrissa Gueye both overcame recent injuries to feature at the weekend, though, and the pair will be in contention to start on Wednesday night.

Edinson Cavani is also available following a recent hip problem, but it seems likely that Mauro Icardi will continue in the final third alongside Angel Di Maria and Mbappe.

Leandro Paredes could also keep his spot due to limited midfield options, although Pablo Sarabia could come into the XI should Tuchel decide to change his formation.
