Multi-sport Acca: New Zealand to beat India in fifth ODI

India were beaten by eight wickets in the fourth ODI earlier in the week.

Cricket, football and both rugby codes feature in our multi-sport Acca this weekend.

We provide an in-depth look at what promises to be another thrilling weekend of sport.

Warrington Wolves v Leeds Rhinos

Warrington lost last season's Challenge Cup final by six points and the Grand Final by eight points so head coach Steve Price knows his squad aren't too far from winning a major trophy.

David Furner's objective as Leeds Rhinos' new head coach is to get them challenging at the right end of the table rather than fighting for their Super League place, which has been the case in two of the last three campaigns.

Warrington have a settled squad that knows eachother's game inside out and should be too strong for the Rhinos, especially out wide where wingers Tom Lineham and Josh Charnley should have big games.

New Zealand v India

The fifth ODI between New Zealand and India may be a dead rubber given India took an unassailable 3-0 lead but both teams have plenty to play for.

With a World Cup in England to plan for later this year, this is a chance for players to nail down a place in their country's squad.

While the first three ODIs were enjoyed more by the batsmen, the fourth was dominated by New Zealand's bowlers with Trent Boult's five for 21 the pick of the figures in a resounding win.

Boult will be fancied to be among the wickets again as New Zealand end the series on a high.

Scotland v Italy

The last time Italy won a game in the Six Nations was back in 2015 when they went to Murrayfield and beat Scotland 22-19 to avoid the wooden spoon.

Since then it's been a tale of misery for the Azzurri with 17 straight defeats. An 18th is expected at the scene of their last victory against Gregor Townsend's side, who have won their last six home games in the Six Nations.

The last time Italy visited Murrayfield was in 2017 when they were beaten 29-0 and Scotland will hope for similar this time round.

Leeds v Norwich

The Championship's top two sides meet at Elland Road in the Saturday evening fixture with Leeds hoping to extend their lead at the top of the table to six points.

Norwich were beaten 3-0 at Carrow Road on August 25, but they were able to go six games unbeaten in the league following that defeat winning four and drawing the other two.

Norwich have drawn three of their last four league games while Leeds might be due a draw after going 14 Championship games without a stalemate.

Manchester City v Arsenal

How will the defending champions respond to their 2-1 defeat at Newcastle when they were beaten despite scoring after just 24 seconds?

If they are to remain the main challengers to Liverpool for the title, then this is a game Pep Guardiola's side cannot afford to lose.

Spurred on by the home support, City will respond with a win against an Arsenal side they beat 2-0 at the Emirates earlier in the season.

Recommended bets:

Tom Lineham and Josh Charnley both to score against Leeds Rhinos
Trent Boult to take three or more wickets against India
Scotland to beat Italy by 20 points or more
Norwich to draw at Leeds
Manchester City to beat Arsenal
