Newcastle United are reportedly open to allowing striker Aleksandar Mitrovic to leave St James' Park this summer.

Newcastle United manager Rafael Benitez has reportedly decided to consider offers for striker Aleksandar Mitrovic.

The Serbian international has endured a mixed time on Tyneside since signing for Newcastle in 2015, despite making himself a fan favourite with his all-action style.

However, according to The Mirror, Benitez does not see the 22-year-old as one of his frontline strikers for next season after scoring just four times in the Championship last season.

Any move could be dependent on a team bidding in excess of £10m for the former Anderlecht man, who cost Newcastle a fee of £14.5m just two years ago.

Mitrovic - who has scored a total of 15 goals from 65 appearances in all competitions - is said to be attracting interest from Turkey.
