Manchester United reportedly mull over a bid for Bayern Munich's Renato Sanches.

Manchester United are reportedly pondering a bid for Bayern Munich midfielder Renato Sanches.

Red Devils boss Jose Mourinho is lining up the Portugal international as a potential alternative to Tottenham Hotspur's Eric Dier, with whom United have also been linked, according to The Guardian.

Reports suggest that German champions Bayern are willing to part with Sanches for around £40m, but AC Milan are also believed to be interested in the player.

Mourinho originally tried to sign Sanches after he impressed for the Portugal national team during Euro 2016.

The 19-year-old has earned 12 senior caps for Portugal, scoring one goal at international level.
