Manchester United are reportedly considering an approach for Barcelona defender Jordi Alba, who has less than two years left on his contract at Camp Nou.
Manchester United have reportedly identified Barcelona defender Jordi Alba as a possible signing.
Alba has just started his seventh campaign at Camp Nou, with the 29-year-old having made a total of 249 appearances for the Catalan giants.
However, the Spain international is yet to agree a new contract with Barcelona and with his current deal due to expire in 2020, it has seemingly led to interest from elsewhere.
According to Sport, United have started to monitor any developments regarding Alba's future and may decide to make a move in the summer.
Luke Shaw has started to establish himself on the left side of defence at Old Trafford, but United could soon require competition for the England international with Ashley Young turning 34 in July.
