Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is reportedly happy for Manchester United to end their interest in signing Tottenham Hotspur forward Harry Kane during the next transfer window.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer reportedly has no issues with Manchester United ending their interest in signing Tottenham Hotspur forward Harry Kane.

Ahead of the next transfer window, it had been suggested that United may make an attempt to sign the England international, potentially for a fee in the region of £200m.

However, it has been widely claimed that club officials have since changed their mind regarding the 26-year-old due to the financial impact of the coronavirus pandemic.

According to The Sun, Solskjaer is fully supportive of the stance given that he already has Marcus Rashford at his disposal.

The report claims that the Norwegian rates the academy graduate on the same level as the Three Lions skipper, despite their different goals-to-game ratios over their career.

Rashford would have also been forced out onto one of the flanks had Kane left North London for Old Trafford.
