Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho has reportedly indicated that he will keep Luke Shaw at Old Trafford until at least the end of the season.
Shaw has struggled with a number of injuries since his move to the North-West and until recently, the left-back was considered out of favour by Mourinho and United were keen to bring in a replacement in January.
However, according to The Mirror, talks between the pair has led to Shaw expecting to remain a part of Mourinho's squad for the second half of the campaign.
Since the start of December, Shaw has successfully come through six matches - all from the starting lineup - and the England international is likely to be used on a regular basis with Mourinho having to contend with injury issues in his first-team squad.
The Portuguese continues to remain keen on making a high-profile addition on the left side of defence, but moves for the likes of Danny Rose and Ryan Sessegnon will likely wait until the summer.
