Roma are reportedly set to keep hold of Manchester United's Chris Smalling and Arsenal's Henrikh Mkhitaryan beyond June 30.
Meanwhile, Mkhitaryan has struggled with injuries during his temporary spell in Italy, but has managed to chalk up six goals and three assists from 13 Serie A outings.
According to Corriere Dello Sport, the duo will remain among the ranks at Roma until the season is able to reach a conclusion amid the coronavirus pandemic.
Italy has been one of the worst affected countries during the outbreak of COVID-19, but there is optimism that the 2019-20 Serie A campaign could resume next month.
Roma currently lie fifth in the table, and the Italian outfit's chances at striking a permanent deal for either player will likely be affected by Champions League qualification.
