A report claims that West Ham United could move for Manchester United attacker Juan Mata in this summer's transfer window.

West Ham United could reportedly move for Manchester United attacker Juan Mata in this summer's transfer window.

Mata, 28, is a popular figure with the Man United supporters, but his future has been thrown into doubt due to the arrival of Jose Mourinho, who sold the attacker while the pair were at Chelsea.

Barcelona and Valencia have been linked with a move for the 41-time Spain international, but according to El Confidencial, West Ham are interested in keeping the midfielder in the Premier League.

Mata scored 10 times in 54 appearances for Man United during the 2015-16 campaign. His best scoring season came for Chelsea (20) during the 2012-13 campaign.
