A report claims that Manchester United have launched a £10m bid for West Ham United youngster Reece Oxford.

Manchester United have reportedly made a £10m offer for West Ham United youngster Reece Oxford.

The 17-year-old made his Premier League debut on the opening weekend of the 2015-16 campaign, but struggled for first-team chances in the second half of the season.

It is understood that the centre-back, who can also play in midfield, has turned down a £12,000-a-week contract offer from his current club as he seeks a move away this summer.

According to The Sun, new Man United boss Jose Mourinho has sanctioned a bid in the region of £10m for a player that captained West Ham's Under-21 team to a Premier League Cup victory last season.

Oxford joined West Ham's youth system in 2011 and has 12 first-team appearances to his name.
