A report claims that Adnan Januzaj is unlikely to be sent back out on loan this coming season as he is a part of Jose Mourinho's plans at Manchester United.

Jose Mourinho has reportedly been left impressed by Adnan Januzaj's efforts in training and will give him a lifeline at Manchester United this coming season.

The 21-year-old failed to kick on from a bright start to life in the Red Devils' senior squad and was sent to Borussia Dortmund last year.

Former United boss Louis van Gaal is said to have shipped Januzaj out on loan due to his showboating in an Under-21s game, affording him just three substitute appearances upon his return to the club.

However, The Sun claims that the youngster has stood out during Mourinho's first few sessions as manager and is now in line to be handed a more regular role in attack next term.

Januzaj was given a 45-minute run-out for United on Saturday afternoon as they earned a 2-0 win over Wigan Athletic in their opening pre-season fixture of the summer.

Jose Mourinho the manager of Chelsea looks on during the Capital One Cup fourth round match between Stoke City and Chelsea at the Britannia Stadium on October 27, 2015 in Stoke on Trent, England.
