Manchester United should move for Chelsea midfielder N'Golo Kante this summer, according to pundit Robbie Savage.

Manchester United should launch an ambitious bid for Chelsea midfielder N'Golo Kante in this summer's transfer window, according to pundit Robbie Savage.

Savage, who came through the youth system at United, has claimed that the Frenchman 'could be tempted' by the opportunity to help the Red Devils return to the top of the Premier League.

Kante has once again been a key figure for Chelsea this season, but the 28-year-old has been moved from his favoured holding midfield position to accommodate Jorginho, who followed Maurizio Sarri to Stamford Bridge.

"Kante has won the Premier League with Leicester [City] and Chelsea already, and who's to say he could not be tempted by a possible tilt at a third medal at Old Trafford?" Savage told The Mirror.

The 2018 World Cup winner helped Leicester win the Premier League before joining Chelsea, where he also landed the title during his first season at the club.

This term, the midfielder has scored four times and provided four assists in 44 appearances in all competitions for his London club.
