Barcelona defender Gerard Pique insists that he would welcome the arrival of Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba at Camp Nou.

Barcelona defender Gerard Pique has admitted that he would welcome the arrival of Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba at Camp Nou.

Pogba has been linked with a move to the La Liga champions after reports of a bust-up between him and United manager Jose Mourinho.

Barca have already signed midfielder Arturo Vidal from Bayern Munich this summer, but Pique has revealed that he would be delighted if Pogba were to arrive in Catalonia.

"He is a United player and I'm not very aware of what's happening there," Pique told reporters at a poker event.

"If he decides to change clubs then I would be very happy to have him here.

"I say this with the utmost respect to United."

Pique played for the Red Devils between 2004 and 2008, scoring two goals in the Champions League for the club.
