Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho plays down suggestions that he wants to offload Matteo Darmian and Daley Blind this summer.

Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho has played down suggestions that he wants to offload Matteo Darmian and Daley Blind in this summer's transfer window.

Darmian has made 15 appearances for United this season, but the Italy international has only featured on six occasions in the Premier League, and has been strongly linked with a return to Serie A.

Blind, meanwhile, has only started three Premier League matches during the 2017-18 campaign.

Both players have been linked with summer exits, but Mourinho wants to keep the pair at Old Trafford.

"They are part of my plans. I think when a player wants to go if that's the case and when the right offers arrive in the club we study that because we always try to have the players happy, so if happiness means for them to leave let's see what happens but they are in my plans I don't want to sell I want to keep," Mourinho told reporters.

United are back in Premier League action away to Brighton & Hove Albion on Friday night.
