A report claims that Manchester United could move for Fiorentina attacker Federico Bernardeschi after becoming frustrated in their pursuit of Inter Milan's Ivan Perisic.

Manchester United are reportedly considering a move for Fiorentina attacker Federico Bernardeschi, with the Red Devils becoming increasingly frustrated in their pursuit of Inter Milan's Ivan Perisic.

United have been strongly linked with Perisic in recent weeks, although it is understood that the 20-time English champions are not prepared to meet Inter's asking price of £48m.

According to Mediaset Premium, head coach Jose Mourinho is ready to drop his interest in Perisic to pursue a move for Bernardeschi, who is out of contract at Fiorentina next summer, and is currently refusing to sign a new contract.

The 23-year-old, who has also been linked with Chelsea, scored 14 times for his Italian club during the 2016-17 campaign.

The attacker is currently with Italy Under-21s at the Under-21 European Championships, meanwhile, and his goal against Germany Under-21s on Saturday night helped the Blues reach the semi-finals of the competition.
